fish eye fun in Esteli
I spent a rainy weekend in Esteli, but despite the rain I got some nice cloudy day bright colored fish eye photos! Unfortunately my little pink digital went wacky so I was left with my plastic tinker toy fish eye camera. I've been having lots of fun with it!
Esteli is a cute town to the north of Managua, nice and chill with fresh air, where I went to visit Sugey, a former Nicaraguan volunteer from MCC's International Volunteer Exchange Program (IVEP). We walked through the town and saw several murals, and had fun getting soaked in the pouring rain. We had a lovely picNica on some rocks at a beautiful overlook where we could see green valleys and mountains and volcanoes in the distance. I wish we had more time to explore the natural beauty of the countryside!
