Chinela

The "ch" word of today is CHINELA, also interchangable with CHANCLETA, but here in Nicaragua chinela is more common. Chinela can be used to refer to flip-flops or casual sandals. The one you see here is a leather sandal made in Nicaragua that was painted by my friend Nineth, one of the artists who teaches music at the cultural center.
