I tested the sun prints (photograms) for my photo class that will begin next week! It will give students a small taste of the developing process. The way it works is you place flat objects on the paper and expose it to the sun for a couple minutes, then you wash it and it leaves the impression. Thanks to Dave for sending the paper to Nicaragua! I would appreciate your thoughts and prayers as I begin and prepare and for the 10 students who have been selected for the class.
This weekend I will be getting to know my coworkers at the cultural center a bit better as we head off to a retreat center in the mountains. I'm looking forward to feeling a bit of a chill, and hanging out with the trees.
I felt my first tremor the other day as i was eating dinner on the couch. It was just a 2 second vibration, but apparently they have been happening recently. Hopefully it's not a sign of bigger tremors to come...
Exciting news from the week is that my sister is coming to visit me in December!
