Chorus concert @ Batahola Norte Cultural Center

Here you can view several photos from the chorus at the cultural center where I'm working. This was my first sort of official photo assignment. The chorus performed several pieces with the national orchestra of Nicaragua in commemoration of the anniversary of the death of Margarita Navarro, one of the founders of the center. The concert was free and open to the public and many folks from the Batahola community were there. I liked watching the faces of the children in the front row when the drummer was banging away. They performed some classical Mozart pieces (I think) as well as some others. The sound of the chorus and the accompanying orchestra made some powerfully beautiful music.
