be still november chill

I'm feeling reflective today. Trying to be still.

The cold winter winds chill me to the core, urging me to stay inside wrapped in layers of sweatshirts and blankets while I blow my nose and drink tea. It sounds crazy but I started listening to Christmas music today. It felt appropriate since I just got some new Christmas music and I'll be out of the country for most of December.

Listen to one of my favorite from the Fernando Ortega Christmas CD (not really a Christmas song, but it's included on the CD). It's a nice calming, comforting tune.


In other news, I came a cross another cool photoblog by a newspaper photographer in Virginia. She focuses on different themes and right now it's "Everyday Heroes". I really like the way she highlights different personal stories.


I thought I had more to say but I guess I don't. I think I'll try to write a poem. Time for bed.
